The President of Job Destruction made what he thought was a humorous comment in a meeting with HIS JOBS Council. Speaking of his key mantra in selling the stimulus (We can start right away on "shovel ready" projects) he joked that he guesses they weren't shovel ready after all. His administration then went on to take pride that they had distributed 70% of the money by the end of September.
So, the Operation was a success, it's just that the Patient is Dying.
