Rick Perry "Profhet of God" :-(

I had not seen this side of Governor Perry and I'm disappointed.  These views will scare the heck out of the Moderates who we really need in order to win in 2012.

Perry has long considered himself a “prophet” of God and is quick to combine religion with his right-wing, anti-government policies. A secessionist with a Confederate past, Perry considers programs like Medicaid, the Clean Air Act, and school assistance as unconstitutional “nonsense.” It is now standard practice for Perry to invoke his religion to justify that stance. In May, Perry claimed that the economic crisis was proof the nation needed to go “back to those Biblical principles of you know, you don’t spend all the money.” He even skewed a parable of the Bible to argue that federal public programs are tantamount to “slavery” in which beneficiaries are “slaves to government.”

Cut, Cap, Balance and Jobs

If your like most of us, it just makes you sick to see the way that our Economy is being handled.  For decades now in State and Federal Governments (of all Parties) have been focused on keeping their Seats and Pensions and to do so they have just caved in to Special Interest Groups.  These groups put millions of workers on the pavement to support their chosen candidates so the Politicians (in general) just give them what they ask for which of course is higher wages, better pensions and low cost healthcare.  The problem has been that in order to do this the States and Feds have been growing their Deficits to the point that they might even go bankrupt (God Bless Texas).   "If you don't have it, don't spend it! - Duh!

Even today the Feds are arguing over what to do about the Cap on the Fed Deficit.  A few weeks ago the solution by the Dems was to keep spending but TAX those making over $250.000 - you know, the ones that typically begin the process of creating jobs after a Recession.

Now we have a proposal from the GOP called Cut, Cap and Balance.  (Cut Spending, Cap Spending as a % of projected revenue, and Balance the GD Budget.)  This is the time for our Politicians to stand firm and demand spending cuts and a Balanced Budget Amendment.  Please give them your support by signing the Pledge below and even sending them an email or fax showing your support.  This is not an Ideological or Party Issue.  It's common sense.  It's the way we should all be running our own family budget.

So far hundreds of Legislators and Presidential Candidates have signed on to this concept.  However, so far Bachman has not yet signed.  I really admire her tenacity to stand up for her  Principles even when it angers her own party.  But this is not the issue to seek all of your wishes in one package.  Let's get this passed and then go on to address the elimination of Obamacare.

Fast and Furious - Part 2

There were a lot of very dumb decisions made in selling guns to gun runners.  So dumb and so dangerous to our Mexican Neighbors and our own citizens that people involved MUST be fired.  They have forfeited their right to be in these positions.  The biggest problem of all as you can see in this article is that the head of ATF is claiming that the Justice Department is holding back information.  (As you will remember, this is the same Justice Department who refuses to enforce the Laws of our Country by not deporting captured illegals, Opposing Arizona's Law 'which was to enforce the law', and refusing to prosecute the Black Panthers who were threatening people trying to exercise their right to vote right here in America - not some 3rd World Country.)

All of this and the latest Poll by Real Clear Politics still shows Obama with a 47% approval rating!

We don't need a President and Administration that are Un-American!
