A big thanks to CK for forwarding this video. Newt is a great speaker on "Compassionate - Conservative Issues". Right now he may be the best candidate to debate "the great debater and dear leader". However, I'm just not convinced that he can be elected.
I'd like to see Newt, Carl Rove, and other Rep Leaders get together and "annoint" a few of the young turks like Paul Ryan, Tim Pawlenty, Mike Pence, Tom Coburn, Eric Cantor etc. and get them more visibility.
You'll note that I left off Palin. She too is a great speaker but the way McCain and his staff handled her was just pittyful. I see her as a Party workhorse and candidate for a Cabinet Position like Energy.
What do you think?

Subject: The Secular-Socialist Machine http://www.americansolutions.com/obama_machine.php
Dear CK,
We are a nation that values hard work, entrepreneurship, innovation, and merit-based upward mobility. These values have allowed our nation to rise from colonial subjects of the British Empire to the world's top economic and military power.
But the values that have made America great are threatened by a secular socialist machine that wants to transform America into a radically different nation. The secular socialist machine wants our nation to be dominated by unions, controlled by bureaucracy, and to become a place where the government engineers a vast redistribution of wealth to favored groups.
Led by President Obama, Speaker Pelosi, and Leader Reid, this secular-socialist machine wants us to look to government bureaucrats for guidance and permission to succeed in life.
We are facing a battle to save America, and we are going to need your help.
I want to encourage you to watch this clip from a speech I gave last week in New Orleans, Louisiana in which I describe the threat posed by this machine.
The coming months could very well determine the success and prosperity of our nation for the next fifty years.
Your friend,
Newt Gingrich
